Interfaith Engagement

ISOM’s interfaith engagement is geared towards promoting Tolerance, Understanding, Respect and Acceptance among communities belonging to different religions.
Mr. Karakira (Chairperson of the ISOM BoD) represents ISOM and the Muslim community of South Florida in this program. He is a regular speaker at events of different interfaith groups. These events not only bridge the gap among different religious communities but also bring families and individuals together around common interests in ways that develop personal relationships, friendships and better understanding of each other’s faith.
